Essential : (1) Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of a recognized University or equivalent.
(2) Physical requirements:
i) Minimum Height of 165 cms.
ii) Chest Unexpanded (78-74 cms.) Expanded (83-80 cms.)
iii) (a) 100 metres run in 14 seconds (b) Long Jump (4.2 metres) (Three chances) (c) Shot put (7.26 kgs.) (5.60 metres) Three chances) (d) High jump (1.3 metres) (Three chances) (e) 800 metres run in 2.50 minutes.
(3) Should undergo successfully the courses as may be directed from time to time.
(4) Knowledge of Konkani.
NCC training/Home Guards and civil Defense Training/Physical Training Instructions Course.
OR
Ability to impart training in any three of the following:-
(a) Drill
(b) Arms Drill
(c) Weapons Training
(d) First Aid
(e) Rescue
(f) Fire Fighting
(g) Communications.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.
