Essential : Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential:(i)Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from University recognised by Veterinary Council of India. (ii) Master’s Degree in relevant specialization, with a minimum of 55% of marks(or as equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever grading system is followed) from a university or college recognized by Veterinary Council of India. (iii) Ph. D. in the concerned subject (iv) Atleast eight years experience in teaching/research/ extension activities in the concerned field , in the cadre of regular Assistant Professor(Out of which three years should be in Academic L-12/Selection grade), excluding the period spent for Ph. D. degree. (v) Registration in the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council. (vi) Knowledge of Konkani Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Marathi.
