Essential : Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential:(i)Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry recognized by Veterinary Council of India. (ii) Master’s Degree in relevant specialization, with a minimum of 55% of marks(or as equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever grading system is followed) from a university or college recognized by Veterinary Council of India. (iii) Should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET), if any (iv) Registration with the Veterinay Council of India/State Veterinary Council. Note:Candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for the award of Ph. D. Degree) regulations from time to time shall be exempted from the requirements of NET/SLET. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Marathi.
