Essential : Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential:(i) Master’s degree in Physical Education and Sports or Physical Education or Sports Science from a recognized University with 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed). (ii) Record of having represented the university/college at the inter University/inter-Colligate competitions or the State and or National Championships. (iii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) or Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission(UGC) like State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)/ State Eligibility Test (SET) or awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (UGC) standards and procedure for the award of Ph. D. Degree regulations and their amendments from time to time as the case may be. (Note:Fulfillment of other conditions and its exemptions shall be as per UGC guidelines). (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Marathi.
