Essential : 1(i) Higher Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education/Diploma in Education or its Equivalent. OR Higher Secondary School Certificate (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two years Diploma in Elementary Education/Diploma in Education or its Equivalent, in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education(Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. OR Higher Secondary School Certificate (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four years Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed.) OR Higher Secondary School Certificate (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Education(Special Education). OR Bachelors in Education (B.Ed.) with six months Bridge course in Elementary Education(Professional Development Programme for Elementary Teachers-PDPET). (ii) Passing certificate in the Teacher Eligibility Test(TET) as recognized by the Government of Goa in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) for the purpose. (iii) Teaching Experience of minimum two years in Primary Schools recognized by Directorate of Education. (2) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
