Essential : Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential: Officers under the Central/State Government and Union Territory Administration: (i)holding analogous post on regular basis Or (ii)with 5 years regular service in the post of Chemists(Food) in the scale of Rs. 5500-9000/-(pre-revised) and above possessing educational qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits ie. (1)Post-Graduate in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or Food Technology or Microbiology or Food and Drugs from a University established in India by Law or is an Associate of the Institution of Chemists(India) by examination in the Section of Food Analysis conducted by the Institution of Chemists(India) and has not less than 3 years of experience after Post Graduation in the Analysis of Food in a Laboratory recognized by the Government or in the combined food and drugs laboratory of the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration, Government of Goa. (2)Has been declared qualified for appointment as a Public Analyst by a Board appointed and notified by the Central Government for such purpose.
