Essential : Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential: : (1) Master’s Degree with Second Class in Microbiology /Genetics /Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with Zoology as one of the subject at the level of Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized University. (2) Five Years Experience in the relevant field in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory. (3) Knowledge of Computer (4) Knowledge of Konkani. (5) Physical Standards: (i)Must be Physically fit to perform duty in the relevant field. (ii)Candidate must have following Standard of distant/near vision with/without glasses: Distant Vision Right Eye Left Eye 6/6 6/6 (snellen) Near Vision Right Eye Left Eye 0.5 0.5 (snellen) Note: Each eye must have full field of vision. Candidates with unioccular vision, amblyopia, colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eyes or lids of either eye and perforated ear drum, shall be deemed to be disqualified. Desirable: (i) Doctorate Degree in Science from a recognized University. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
